Brad joined AJK in 1995 and has worked in both our Manchester and Columbus offices. He currently serves as the partner in charge of the Columbus office. He’s the firm’s Engagement Quality Control Partner for all employee benefit plan engagements. He also serves as audit partner for engagements in the following industries:
- Multi-family housing (HUD)
He’s involved as either a team member or team captain in over 40 peer reviews throughout the southeastern United States.
Brad’s approach to each client is that we’re not selling a commodity, or a product, rather we’re selling a relationship. One that needs to be nurtured at all times, not just during the audit or tax season. Communication is key to maintaining that relationship, and communication doesn’t mean that I wait for the client to call me. You have to be proactive and let the clients know about changes in the industry and business landscape, both locally and on a national level.
Brad and his wife, Ashley, have two children, Hobbs and Mallory. They currently reside in Upatoi, GA. They attend First Baptist Church in Columbus, where Brad serves on the Deacon Board, as well as the First Baptist Church Foundations Trustees’ Board. Brad is a past president of the Columbus Chapter of the Georgia Society of CPA’s and currently serves on the Peer Review committee for the GSCPA. He is also the treasurer for NeighborWorks Columbus.
